Anyone checked the official guide or tried the practice test for this? They both seem to push A and B for delta merge initiation, not seeing much support for D or C.
Process chains in BW4HANA always confuse me, but it's probably A and B like on most exam reports.
C/D? Most reliable sources point to A and B for starting delta merge, but I've seen some confusion on DTP flags in some guides. Official guide and practice test both stress process chains and load monitor, so I'd go with those. Correct me if I'm missing anything.
Process chains are such a headache in BW/4HANA, always tripping me up. D, not B-thought you could use a flag on the DTP to start a merge if needed. Maybe I mixed that up with another process.
Looks right to me, process chain step and load monitor start the merge. A B
Yeah, it's A and B for this one. Delta merge can be kicked off with that process chain step or manually from the data load monitor, not using flags in transformations or DTP. Pretty sure about this setup, but happy to hear other takes.
C/D? I see A and B as the right ones but the DTP flag confusion comes up a lot. Pretty sure flags in C and D don't trigger merges. Someone correct me if I missed some new BW/HANA feature.
Nah, not D here. B is correct since DTP flags don't trigger the actual delta merge.
A B imo. You can trigger the delta merge directly via a process chain step or through the data load monitor, both are user-driven options in BW/4HANA. C and D talk about flags but those don't actually start merges-transformations and DTPs handle data flow, not the merge process itself. If someone has seen D work, let me know, but docs back A and B here.
A B tbh
