Gateway extensions for IBM API Connect are packaged as .zip files for uploading. This archive must contain the extension manifest file, gateway-extension.yml, at its root level. All other required files, such as DataPower configuration objects or OpenAPI definitions referenced in the manifest, must also be included in the .zip file, maintaining their relative path structure. The gateway service in the API Manager UI specifically requires this .zip format for the upload process.
