Q: 9
You are planning the implementation Azure Arc to support the planned changes. You need to
configure the environment to support configuration management policies. What should you do?

Makes sense to start with the vnet, then create Azure AD DS, then update vnet DNS settings.
Official guide and lab walkthroughs show: Create virtual network, create Azure AD DS, then modify vnet DNS.
Another drag and drop with confusing AD options, but the sequence is: Create virtual network, then create Azure AD DS instance, finally tweak vnet DNS.
Yeah, you always start by creating the virtual network first so everything has a place to live. Then deploy the Azure AD DS instance, and finally tweak the vnet DNS settings so VMs can find the domain controllers. That sequence matches typical Azure domain join setups from what I remember. Let me know if anyone's seen a different order work!
- Create an Azure virtual network
- Create an Azure AD DS instance
- Modify the settings of the Azure virtual network
Seen the same in a practice exam. Order is: create vnet, create Azure AD DS instance, then modify vnet DNS.
C tbh, config policies through Arc only work after the Connected Machine agent is on the servers. Hybrid AD join isn’t enough.
Yeah this one's pretty standard. First create the Azure virtual network, then deploy the Azure AD DS instance, after that modify the vnet DNS settings so the VMs can locate the domain. Seen similar order in different exams, so I'm confident here but open to correction.
Seen this workflow in the official guide. Mapping is: Create virtual network, then Azure AD DS instance, finally modify vnet DNS.
C is the way to go here.
Run AD DS Installation Wizard, then install the AD DS role, then create Azure AD DS instance
