log: None, data: ReadOnly works best here. SQL logs should avoid caching to keep writes fully durable, and the data disk benefits from ReadOnly for faster query performance. Saw this same logic in Microsoft docs, pretty sure that's what they expect. Disagree?
Pretty sure it's log: None, data: ReadOnly. Trap is picking ReadWrite for logs, but that's not safe for SQL data integrity.

SQL Server logging is super sensitive to durability, so caching on the log disk actually risks data loss if something crashes. For the data disk, ReadOnly cache makes those SELECTs faster since reads hit the host cache first and there's no risk of write corruption. Pretty sure that's what other exams mention too, unless they're asking for a weird config.
