The Azure portal’s Purchase reservations blade contains the reservation-pricing “savings estimator.”

After you choose resource type = “SQL Database”, select scope, term, and region, the blade immediately compares pay-as-you-go cost with the reservation price and shows the percentage and monetary savings. Microsoft’s official documentation directs customers to this blade when they are only evaluating reserved capacity so they can “see the savings before you buy.” Neither the SQL Database resource view nor Azure Advisor exposes this interactive estimator for SQL Database reservations.

B. Advisor provides high-level reservation recommendations, but it does not contain the detailed estimator; it links you to the Purchase Reservations experience for exact savings.

C. The SQL Database blade shows performance and pricing tier information but has no function to calculate reservation savings.
