Its resource allocation for me. Business-as-usual work eats up the same staff and time you need for your project, so schedules slip. I saw similar advice in the official APM guide and some practice exams, they always stress how day-to-day duties clash with project timelines. Might be missing some nuance though, open to correction if anyone sees it differently.
Option D. Resource allocation comes up in official guides and is flagged a lot in exam reports as impacting schedule most.
C/D? Depends if they want impact on quality or resource allocation, both legit from what I remember.
I don’t think it’s just resource allocation. Overlapping BAU can also raise project risk, not just delay things. I usually look for quality issues too on these questions, but resource drain is the common trap.
C or D? BAU usually drains resources but risk is also a sneaky one on these types of questions.
Probably resource allocation. Had something almost the same on my exam, and it's always about how BAU competes for the same people or time as the project work, which causes delays. That's what I picked.
