Discussion
Option D had this in my exam last year.
D. Lagging indicators show the results after actions have been taken, like net promoter score changes following adoption. The others (A, B, C) are more about activities or leading indicators. Pretty sure about D from similar practice sets, but sometimes wording trips people up.
D, not B. Net promoter score is classic lagging, while adoption is tricky but can be a trap here.
D for sure, NPS is always considered a lagging indicator in customer success. Pretty standard Cisco wording.
D same as what I saw in practice tests. Lagging indicators like NPS come after all the action, not before.
Guessing D, net promoter score is usually measured after changes so it fits the lagging indicator definition. The others are more process or input focused. Open to other ideas if someone thinks B matches better.
D imo. NPS only changes after users have experienced the full product and formed an opinion, so it lags behind user behavior. I see why some might think B since adoption feels like it happens after rollout, but in Cisco world, adoption is used as a leading indicator to spot success trends early. Not totally sure if anyone disagrees.
B , since adoption can sometimes be measured after the fact if tied to actual usage data.
Likely it's D because NPS reflects customer sentiment after they’ve used the product, so it measures outcomes that have already happened. Lagging indicators usually show up once you see the results, not during the process. If anyone thinks another option fits, definitely open to a different angle.
I don’t think it’s B. D is the lagging indicator here, adoption (B) is more of a leading metric.
