Q: 8
Which type of authentication protocol is used when using OSPF on an MX appliance?

Option A, seen the same in official guide and some practice sets.
Option A official exam guides and Meraki docs confirm MD5 is the right answer here.
Official guide and Meraki docs both point to MD5 for OSPF auth on MX. A
C
I remember seeing a similar question, and I thought it was plaintext since some older OSPF setups use simple passwords. Not fully sure though, as Meraki might support something else. If anyone knows for sure, let me know!

A tbh. Meraki MX only offers MD5 for OSPF auth, you can't pick SHA-1 or certs. Plaintext (C) is classic IOS but not on MX. Unless there's a new firmware I missed, A should be right here. Open to correction if something changed!
Really have to watch for platform-specific stuff here. On Meraki MX, only MD5 (A) is supported for OSPF auth, even if classic IOS has other options. If they meant general Cisco, answer might flip but for MX pretty sure it's A.
Yep, always seen A for Meraki MX OSPF configs. MX doesn't let you pick SHA-1 or certs, just MD5. C is supported by classic Cisco IOS but not on MX. Pretty confident it's A, but open to correction if firmware changed recently!
A or C? Saw similar on practice, but for Meraki MX it looks like only MD5 (A) is supported for OSPF auth. Plaintext is common on some older Cisco stuff, not here though I think. Pretty sure it's A, but correct me if I'm off!
Its A. Only MD5 is supported for OSPF auth on Meraki MX as far as I know, not the other options.
