Which Cisco Meraki best practice method preserves complete historical network event logs?

Option C
C tbh, because only a syslog server will store all events long term. Dashboard retention is always limited, even if you mess with periods or event numbers. D seems like a trap since it limits what’s logged. Open to other thoughts if I missed something.
If you actually need to preserve all historical events, I think only C fits. Meraki Dashboard just can't store unlimited history on its own, so sending logs to a syslog server gets you that long-term archive. Maybe nitpicky, but short retention is a real platform limit.
Meraki dashboard has retention limits, so for full history, you'd need option C with a syslog server. That's the best practice from what I know. If anyone's used another reliable method let me know!
Is there a specific spot in the official Meraki guide that clearly says syslog is required for full event retention? I remember labs pointing to that, but never saw it spelled out in the practice exam explanations.
B or D. I saw something similar in a practice exam and both were mentioned as methods to keep more logs. Check the official guide and lab docs for how Dashboard settings actually work.
Its C, seen similar on exam reports. Setting up a syslog server is the only way to keep all network event logs long-term since Meraki Dashboard itself has retention limits. Pretty sure about this, but correct me if I'm missing something.
Does "best practice" here mean most secure or most cost-effective? If the question is just about maximizing the number of logs stored but not necessarily needing external backup, wouldn't A work? More context about compliance requirements could change things too.
