C . When adding an MGCP gateway like VG320 in UCM, entering the FQDN or hostname is mandatory so CUCM can communicate with the device. Device pool matters but isn't what gets it registered to the database at this step. Anyone disagree?
Honestly, I'm between B and C but think it's C since UCM needs that hostname to recognize the gateway for MGCP.
A is wrong, C is right here. Cisco UCM needs the FQDN or hostname to add the gateway and establish MGCP, that's a required field. Device pool can be set later but FQDN/hostname is key at this step. Agree?
Its C. You need to specify the FQDN or hostname so UCM can identify and manage the gateway properly. Pretty sure that's the missing required field here, not device pool or DTMF stuff. Someone correct me if I'm off.
C tbh, seen similar in practice. Super clear question, all about registering the gateway by its FQDN or hostname.
