support an environment of:
• 400 hosts
• 4000 virtual machines

I'd pick B and D too. 8 vCPUs (D) and 30 GB memory (B) match the Medium deployment specs for vCenter, which is needed for that many hosts. Not completely sure if this changed recently but that's how I remember it.
D and B. A is overkill, C/E would undersize for 400 hosts. Pretty sure that's what VMware guides list for Medium size.
Option A I keep seeing conflicting info in VMware docs about vCPU, so I'm thinking 16 vCPUs should cover it?
B and D imo. Medium deployment is what you want for 400 hosts, so that's 8 vCPUs (D) and 30 GB RAM (B) per VMware's official sizing charts. C or E would undersize the environment and probably cause issues with performance. Haven't seen these requirements shift lately, but correct me if I'm missing something.
Its D and B since Medium deployment covers up to 400 hosts, and VMware docs list 8 vCPUs plus 30GB RAM for that size. C/E would be too low. Anyone see these specs change in recent updates?
Medium-sized vCenter needs at least 8 vCPUs and 30 GB memory for that many hosts and VMs. So, D and B fit here based on VMware sizing guides. Pretty sure about this but open if someone has newer sizing info.
