The next billing-cycle close date is calculated by adding the weekly frequency (7 days) to the present close date of 7-Nov-2022, giving 14-Nov-2022. Because the Create Consumption Advice process is started on 10-Nov-2022, the current date is still before the next close date, so the frequency interval hasn’t completed. Per Oracle policy, the program therefore returns without producing a consumption advice and leaves the existing close date unchanged.

A. Advice can’t be generated before the 14-Nov close date, so no new close date (14-Nov) is set.

B. When no advice is produced, the close date isn’t rolled forward, so it never becomes 17-Nov.

D. Both the generation of advice and advancement of the close date to 17-Nov contradict process rules.
